Recovery residence compliance is mostly documentation: proving what a resident agreed to, what was tested, who was home, who went to a meeting, and what happened when someone left. Whether the request comes from a NARR state affiliate, a court, a probation officer, a treatment center, a funder or a landlord, it lands on the same handful of records. Can you show the house rules this resident signed, and when? Their drug test history? Whether they were home at curfew and at the meetings they said they attended? What passes were approved? What was documented when an incident happened, and how they exited?
Homes that run on binders and group texts can usually answer those questions, eventually, by reconstructing them. Compliance software means the answer already exists on the day it's asked for.
It does not certify your home; your affiliate does that. It is not a clinical EHR and it does not bill insurance. It is the operating record of a sober living or transitional housing program, built so the documentation a review expects is a by-product of running the house.

Write your agreement once, or paste your existing one. Residents e-sign in the free app or through a browser link. The signed copy stores their typed name, the date and time, and the IP address, and prints or saves as a PDF with that certificate. Staff can pre-fill an agreement before sending it.
Each UA or BA is recorded with the date, kind, result and substances. Pending tests are completed when the result comes back. The history reads as a timeline, not a stack of strips.
Residents check in at curfew and at meetings from their phone, with location attached. Attendance shows up on their record, which is what a court or PO usually wants.
Overnight and multi-day passes are requested and approved in the app, so the approval exists somewhere other than a text thread. Notes on a resident's record, visible to staff only, hold incident reports and follow-ups.
Applications arrive through your own link with the answers and signature attached. At exit, the discharge reason and outcome are recorded, and post-discharge follow-ups at 30, 90 and 180 days feed the outcomes report.
Rosters, payments, UA history and outcomes export as plain CSV. Nothing is locked in a proprietary format, and you can leave with your data at any time.
Recovery records are protected information. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, house managers can be limited to their own houses, and an owner can hide medications and documents from managers entirely. Residents control their own accounts and see only their own records.
Social Security and ID numbers collected on applications are stored encrypted with only the last four digits visible to staff. Backups run hourly. And because a non-profit runs the platform, there is no advertising and no sale of data, ever.
